It has come to the attention of the Board and your property management team that parking on Forest Springs continues to be a concern. The issue was previously addressed by the board and property management with the following results. You may recall receiving several emails in the spring and fall of 2023 regarding the procedures to establish a Loudoun County Residential Permit Parking District (RPPD). Because we did not achieve the minimal number of participation, the Board of Directors has decided to suspend the Associations participation in the RPPD program at this time.
Over the past 6 months, the Board of Directors requested petition forms from homeowners for the RPPD program which was available through Loudoun County Transportation and Capital Infrastructure. Loudoun County requires that 75% of the 268 townhomes (201 units) complete a petition form in order to submit a community application. Unfortunately, to date we have received only 23 responses from homeowners which is not enough community interest to support the programs implementation.
